Many important aspects of Sambuddha Sasana, including the beginning of Chivara month after the monks who have been performing the ablution for three months, have been applied to the Vap Poha.
The Buddha, who went to heaven to spend his seventh year, left the heaven and went to Sankassapura in Dambadi and spent many days like today.
